Sister Faith Mary SC – Sister Faith Mary’s Funeral will take place in church at 11a.m.on Friday 19^th February, followed by cremation at 12 noon at Efford Crematorium.

Praying for the Parish Today we pray for the residents of Aycliffe Gardens and Greenlees Drive, for the Parochial Church Council and for the Church Wardens. On Wednesday we will pray for the residents of Canefields Avenue and Slatelands Close and for the Moorside Deanery Synod.

The Meditation Group – will not meet again until after Easter, to enable members to attend Lent courses.

Lent Lunches – Lent Lunches start this Friday at 12 noon in the Church Hall. Soup, bread and cheese will be served in return for a donation to charity. Please support this annual charity giving as part of your Lent discipline.

Lent Course – an Ecumenical Lent Course will start on Wednesday 24^th February at 7.30pm. The five sessions will take place in different churches in Plympton starting on 24^th February at Yealmpstone Farm School, home of Chaddlewood Baptist Church. Please pray for this ecumenical endeavour. If anyone wishes to be part of the team to organise the session at Plympton St Maurice on 24^th March please contact Bishop James.

Harewood House Coffee Week –In the week beginning Monday 8^th March Plympton St Maurice church will be providing coffee and light lunches at Harewood House. We would be grateful for your support and for donations of cakes, sandwich ingredients, raffle prizes, and bric a brac.

Situation Vacant!- Judy will very soon be obliged to give up editing the Church Magazine. If this publication is to continue, we need a new editor. It is an interesting job, not too time-consuming. If you are willing to have a go please speak to Bishop James
