Macmillan Coffee Morning Raises Over £700

The occassional shower on Saturday morning (1st October) did nothing to deter visitors to the Macmillan Cancer Relief Coffeee Morning and Sale held in the Church Hall.

Well over one hundred people visited the event and raised £702 for the charity. Books, childrens clothes and toys,bric-a-brac and cakes were on sale. The Church Fundraising Stall sold wooden craftware, candles and the new tea towels and raised a further £224 for Church funds to help with the cost of providing handicapped access to the hall.
